Winter Solstice Candle Labyrinth 2021

December 21, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free
Join us on the darkest night of the year to walk the candle labyrinth and welcome back the sun.
The labyrinth has long been used for meditation, prayer and sites of ritual in various cultures around the world. Created with more than100 candles, the winter solstice labyrinth invites you to warm yourself in a self-guided ceremony intended to help release old attachments and envision new possibilities as the darkest night of the year births a new season.
The labyrinth will be created in the big event hall at Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery. The space will be lit by candles and we will have the ethereal sounds of crystal bowls from Chris Tuer of @soundsplushealing.  All are welcome
We will light it up Tuesday December 21st at 6:00-8:30pm. The location is 7258 County Road 50 West in Harrow. All are welcome. Please remember the labyrinth is a quiet, contemplative, meditative space.
This is a free event, however I will have a donation jar to give $ to a women’s shelter.
The winery will be open afterwards to enjoy hot apple cider, Hot chocolate, mulled wine, and seasonal treats. The winery retail store will be open. There will be a fire outside to enjoy as well.
Please wear a mask and social distance. Thank you.

How to walk the labyrinth

Take a breath and clear your mind
As you enter the labyrinth place your hands down to let go and release whatever you don’t need anymore, or think of a question you need clarity on.
Follow the path and when you get to the center take a moment to reflect. Take any stone
Now turn your palms upwards and begin walking out of the labyrinth calling in the energy and things you would like to manifest and bring into your life.
Let the stone hold the energy of your new beginnings
