Check out some nearby bed and breakfasts  The Lake House , Walnut Grove B & B or cottages around the corner, or unique and exquisite inns in Wine Country such as The Grove or  The Banded Goose.

Crave big city nightlife? Hotels and motels in Windsor are only a half an hour drive away from the winery.

Food & Drink

Are drink and culinary experiences your thing? We are bountiful in this region boasting dozens of wineries [here, here], breweries and distilleries [here], and some absolutely incredible restaurants to enjoy our local food and drinks.

Sprucewood Shores offers delicious picnic basket lunches May 1st to October 31st and grazing boxes year round to enjoy on our lovely property (no need to call ahead).

Outdoor Activities

Kayak or canoe to or from Holiday Beach and take the scenic route along the shoreline of Lake Erie to Sprucewood Shores walk-in beachfront. For a longer and more challenging getaway, meander your way along beautiful River Canard.  Bring your own or rent locally.

Scenic Bike Rides

Bike the historic County Road 50 and enjoy the sprawling farmland and shoreline from your two wheels. Rent a bike or ebike or bring your own to enjoy the ride, or have Windsor Eats take on an EPIC bike adventure.  Join a fun Friday Night Lights bike ride around Windsor.

Rent a canoe or kayak to enjoy the beautiful and bountiful River canard then stop here for lunch and wine on the shores of Lake Erie.

Take the family out for a mini-putting adventure minutes away from us at Ure’s Mini Golf and ice cream parlour.  A must stop for the family!

Bird Watching

Our proximity to Holiday Beach makes us a great spot for bird watching. Hawks, golden eagles, and barn swallows have been using our grounds as a migratory path and nesting area. Visit the Holiday Beach Migration Observatory or book a private bird watching tour today.

Yoga, Shopping and More

Yoga is a relaxing and peaceful way to unwind. Private and group led classes are available. Bring your mat for some quiet time down at the beach. Namaste.
